Om Beach in Gokarna - Forming the shape of Om (Hindu Symbol)

Due to its geography which is very similar to the Hindu religious symbol ‘Om’, it is named after it. This Om beach is considered affordable for the budget tourists to indulge in the activities & food and hence usually crowded. The long stretch of white sandy beach adjoining the rocky terrain is surely appealing. It is known for its early morning and late evening sightseeing delights and very popular among photographers. The beach offers the tourists an opportunity to interact with the local fishing community to get some insights into their daily lives. Banana boat (banana shaped hot air balloon boat) rides, bumper boat rides, dolphin spotting, jet skiing, fishing, speed boating etc are some of the myriads of activities to engage in.
