DAY 4 : Kodaikanal - Madurai (3.5hrs drive)

Finish your breakfast and drive to Madurai. Visit the famous Azhagar Koil located in Alagar Hills. Also visit Pazhamudhirsolai Murugan Temple, one of the six sacred abodes (Arupadai Veedu) of lord Murugan. Check-in to the hotel and relax. Visit Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple, one of the six sacred abodes (Arupadai Veedu) of lord Murugan. Also visit the Meenakshi Amman Temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati and a thousand pillared hall with eye-catching architecture. The complex is adorned with many shrines and sculptures. DAY 5 : Madurai - Kanyakumari (4hrs drive)

Start your drive to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of the Indian mainland. Visit the famous Kumari Amman Temple. The Vivekananda Rock Memorial has been built to commemorate the visit of Swami Vivekananda, the great Hindu saint. The Thiruvalluvar Statue is located here. The pedestal of the statue is of 38 feet height and the statue over it is 95 feet tall with a grand total of 133 feet for the entire sculpture. DAY 6 : Kanyakumari - Tiruchendur - Rameswaram (5.5hrs drive)

Start your drive to Rameswaram. Enroute stop and visit Tiruchendur Murugan Temple, one of the six sacred abodes (Arupadai Veedu temple) of lord Murugan. Continue your drive and visit the famous Pamban Bridge, a railway bridge on the Palk Strait which connects the Rameshwaram town to mainland India. Check-in to the hotel and relax. DAY 7 : Rameshwaram - Trichy (5hrs drive)

Start your drive to Tiruchchirappalli (Trichy). Regarded as the largest functioning Hindu temple in the world, the Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangam was built between the 6th and the 9th centuries by the Azhwar Saints. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is the 1st of the 108 Divya Desams or Vishnu Temples in the world. Thiruvanaikovil Sri Jambukeswara Temple is one of the five elements of nature (Pancha Bootha Sthalam temple). Here, lord Shiva signifies as “Water” element. The temple was built in Dravidian style of architecture by the Cholas in the 2nd century AD. Rockfort Uchchipillayar Temple refers to an ancient fort and the temple which is situated in the fort’s highest reaches. The temple was built by the Pallavas in 508 AD are the oldest structure in the fort and is also a must be seen attraction. Overnight stay in Trichy
